Garden Party
There’s a party in my garden
The bugs are boogying down
It’s time for celebration
There’s a new queen in town
Ants danced excitedly, amongst the amaryllis
Bees waggled their butts off, in a blooming blossom
Beetles boogied back and forth, in between bamboo
Butterflies blazed beautifully, around the begonias
Ladybugs leaped side to side on luminous lavender
Stink bugs shimmied on the sunflower dance floor
Wetas wobbled wonkily, in the wrinkly flax
Worms wiggled wildly, around the water lilies
There’s a party in my garden
The bugs are boogying down
It’s time for celebration
There’s a new queen in town
We worked collaboratively as a class to write this poem!
